Stade rue Henri Dunant

The main stand:

Tickets and prices: 7 € (members: 6 €) for regular championship games. Free entrance for people aged under 16! No pre-sale is organised, tickets are only available at the stadium gates before the games. Prices for Cup games are fixed by the FLF.

Stadium Tour: free, but only possible during times where no matches take place (youth and senior teams) and after having fixed an appointment at times where a club official is available.

By car: From the south (A3, A4): you've two options: drive through the city centre in direction of Ettelbrück / Walferdange, down the Côte d'Eich to the rue de Beggen or you stay on the motorway in direction of Trier (A1) and then Ettelbrück (A7). For the latter option, please continue reading at the description if you come from the east. Else, stay on the rue de Beggen until the Beggen church where you turn right into the rue Cyprien Merjai. Coming from the west (A6): also here you can drive through the city centre (Route d'Arlon, Côte d'Eich) or you quit the motorway already on the exit "Bridel" where follow the signs then for Bridel. Later, at Bridel, follow the signs for Biergerkräiz / Bereldange / Walferdange until you drive downhill to join the route de Luxembourg. Turn right now in direction of Luxembourg / Beggen an stay on this road until the Beggen church where you turn left into the rue Cyprien Merjai. From the east (A1): the best way is to change the motorway at the exit "Ettelbrück / Echternach" onto the A7 and there take the first exit "Grünewald" (current end of the motorway). Keep left an drive in direction of Ettelbrück until you are at Dommeldange. After the second traffic lights, turn right into the centre of Dommeldange where take again the first road to your right and then you follow the railway in direction of Beggen until you are in the rue Henri Dunant and at the ground. From the north (N7): coming from Ettelbrück / Walferdange, always stay on the N7 until you are in the rue de Beggen where you continue following the way described already under "west": at the Beggen church turn left into the rue Cyprien Merjai. From there get to the next crossroads, turn left and after about 300 metres you're at the ground.
Using the city buses, the routes #10, #11 & #19 drive to Beggen. Using the route #10 or #11, get out on the stop "Beggen-Kiirch" (Beggen-Church) and for the rest follow the instructions for the coming by car. The route Nr. #19 drives right to the Stadium, where's the Terminus of it. But this line is not served on Sundays!
You can also come by train, but this is only recommended if you want to have a long walk to the stadium. Get out on the station Dommeldange and go in northern direction (turn left, coming out of the station hall) until you come to a bridge at your left side. Walk over it and turn right into the rue Henri Dunant. Now walk on until you arrived at the stadium. Somewhere close to the station ('Château' there's also a bus stop of the route #19 (see above). FC Avenir plays in the Stade rue Henri Dunant (by the way, "stade" means stadium, "rue" means road) since 1981. Before they played in the Stade Emile Metz-Tesch from 1962 to 1981. Before 1962, they played in a predecessor ground of the Stade Emile Metz-Tesch, which of course was at the same place. Below, you'll find a recent photo of the main stand of our old stadium, in the state before its demolition in late 2004 where it is about to make place for a new residential area.

In 2000 the brand new club house at the Dommeldange end of the ground was inaugurated. Here's an early picture of how it looks like at the inside, but meanwhile the decoration has changed already a lot:
